Exam Pattern Overview

IIT JAM is a computer-based test (CBT) of three hours duration. Each test paper carries a total of 100 marks and comprises three sections — Section A (Multiple Choice Questions), Section B (Multiple Select Questions), and Section C (Numerical Answer Type questions). Negative marking applies to Section A only.

Admission Through IIT JAM

Qualifying IIT JAM does not guarantee admission.
